ShareMouse 6.0 is a powerful and well-designed freeware mouse sharing and remote desktop application, developed by Bartels Media for Windows.

Control multiple computers from a single mouse and keyboard
ShareMouse lets you use one keyboard and mouse one multiple computers connected to the same network with a client/server model.
Move the mouse to the monitor of the computer you wish to control and the pointer magically jumps to that computer. Any mouse and keyboard input is transmitted to the corresponding computer.
Similar to a network KVM, ShareMouse transmits mouse movements and clicks through the local LAN. All traffic can be password-protected and AES encrypted.
To switch between computers, there is no additional hardware or press of a button required.
Similar to a keyboard switch, you can seamlessly operate multiple computers on your desk from any mouse and keyboard.

Is ShareMouse free?
ShareMouse is a restricted version of commercial software, often called freemium which requires you to pay a license fee to unlock additional features which are not accessible with the free version. Download and installation of this software is free, however other similar programs are available from remote desktop software which may have what you need. 6.0.62 is the latest version last time we checked.
What version of Windows can ShareMouse run on?
ShareMouse can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit downloads.
